Just a perfect match for a transient visit in Hermanus with great value for the money. The owner was very helpful, offering us thorough advice on breakfast options and local attractions. Be prepared for its slightly remote location. it may make dining options limited.

The room features beautiful decor with great views directly out to the beach, giving a restful atmosphere. The breakfast options are superb, with daily specials that elevate the dining experience.
The television is surprisingly small and hidden away in a cupboard, which isn't ideal for lounging around. Also, seaviews aren't as accessible as expected—a bit of a letdown for those wanting to wake up to the ocean right from bed. Additionally, some rooms face the back, which can feel less desirable compared to the stunning beachfront views that are promoted.

stunning ocean views, romantic candlelit ambiance, spacious bathroom
I found the strong unpleasant smell in the Oyster room baffling!!! It seemed to come from the bathroom, not the so-called kelp outside!!! Management should address this issue promptly, to avoid marring the beautiful facilities.

The stunning ocean views from my room were complemented by the delightful breakfast of buttery croissants and excellent coffee served in a charming breakfast area. The friendly staff truly enhanced the experience with their warm demeanor and thoughtful suggestions throughout my short stay. However, the location, while beautiful, felt slightly remote, making local dining options a bit limited, which was a minor inconvenience. I also noticed the attention to detail could vary, with some amenities needing a bit of upkeep.
